Loreto Araya is a Chilean actress and voice actress known for her extensive work in anime dubbing for the Latin American market. She is recognized as a pioneer in the dubbing industry within Chile and has built a significant career performing voice roles for numerous animated series.

Araya is perhaps best known for providing the voice of Sasami Masaki Jurai across multiple series in the Tenchi Muyo! franchise. Her work in this long-running series includes the original Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, Tenchi in Tokyo, and various other specials and films related to the franchise. In addition to the Tenchi franchise, her notable anime roles include Azalie in the series Orphen and Rose in the animated series Jake Long: American Dragon. Her other voice credits in animation include roles in Sonic X, Zoids, The Legend of Zorro, and The Jungle Book.

Beyond her work in Japanese anime, Araya has performed voice dubbing for live-action series and films. She is particularly recognized for dubbing the voice of Turkish actress Beren Saat in the Latin American Spanish dubs of the television series Amor Prohibido and Las Mil y Una Noches.

Araya is also a prominent educator and entrepreneur in the voice acting field. She is the founder, director, and general manager of ProVoz, a voice and dubbing school based in Santiago, Chile, which she established in 2005. She developed a patented teaching methodology known as "Doblaje de Interpretación" (Interpretation Dubbing), and her school is recognized as a pioneer in Chile for training voice actors. In recognition of her expertise, she has been invited as a speaker at major international industry events, including the Voice Talent conference in Panama and the Voiceover Atlanta Conference.
