Brad Moranz

Description
Brad Moranz is an American actor and voice actor known for his work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, particularly within the cyberpunk franchise that includes Bubblegum Crisis, Bubblegum Crash, and AD Police Files. Born on August 29, 1952, in Houston, Texas, his career in the entertainment industry includes both on-screen acting and voiceover work.

Moranz is most recognized for providing the English voice of Leon McNichol, a dedicated and sometimes impulsive officer of the AD Police force who pilots powered armor suits. He voiced this character across multiple installments of the franchise. In the original Bubblegum Crisis OVA series, he voiced the role of Leon McNichol in the English dub produced by AnimEigo. He reprised this role in the sequel OVA Bubblegum Crash, continuing with the character who remains a member of the AD Police while his relationship with Knight Saber member Priss Asaguri develops. He also voiced a younger version of Leon McNichol in the prequel OVA AD Police Files, which details the character's early days as an AD Police officer. It is noted that AD Police Files had a second English dub produced by World Wide Group in which the character was voiced by a different actor, Adam Henderson.

Beyond his signature role in the Bubblegum Crisis universe, Moranz’s acting credits include appearances in live-action television series. He had a role in the legal drama Matlock (1986) and appeared in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (1992). His later work includes a role in the science fiction television series Surface (2005).
