Matthew Géczy

Matthew Géczy is an American voice actor, screen actor, and voice director based in Paris, France. Born in the state of Georgia on August 23, 1964, he grew up in various locations across the United States as part of a military family before moving to France at the age of eighteen. He holds dual French-American citizenship.

In the field of animation voice acting, Géczy is known for providing the English dub voice for the character Trunks in the film Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13 and the voice of Doore in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge. He is also widely recognized for his role as the eccentric Odd Della Robbia in the animated television series Code Lyoko. His other animation voice credits include Casper in Casper's Scare School, Chip in Disney's Chip 'N' Dale: Park Life, as well as roles in feature films such as Ratatouille, Persepolis, and A Monster in Paris. In video games, he has performed voice work for titles including the Rayman series, Splinter Cell, the Rabbids franchise, XIII, and as the voice of Beep-O in Mario + Rabbid: Sparks of Hope.

Beyond performing, Géczy works extensively as a voice director for animated series. His directing credits include the Children's BAFTA-nominated series Eliot Kid, Mouk on Disney Junior, I.N.K. Invisible Network of Kids, Casper's Scare School, and The New Adventures of Lassie for DreamWorks Classics. He also serves as the scratch voice director for the English version of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

In addition to his animation career, Géczy has appeared in live-action films alongside directors such as Brian De Palma and Coralie Fargeat, and holds the distinction of having portrayed Colonel Sanders in more KFC advertising campaigns than any other actor in the world, serving as France's first and longest-running Colonel.
