So-Hyeong Kim

So-Hyeong Kim is a South Korean voice actor born on August 22, 1965. He began his career in voice acting when he joined the Seoul-based Korean Broadcasting System’s Voice Acting Division in 1992.

Kim is best known for his work dubbing foreign animation into Korean, particularly in long-running series. He is the Korean voice behind the character Usopp in the popular anime One Piece. He has voiced this character across multiple installments, including the television series, the film One Piece: The Movie, and One Piece Film: Strong World. In the same series, he also provided the voice for Usopp's alter ego, the Sniper King, and notably performed the character’s theme song himself for the Korean dub.

His other notable anime roles include the character Sibuxiang in the series Soul Hunter. Beyond these, his extensive work in broadcast television dubbing includes roles in several major international anime adapted for a Korean audience. These credits include Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Chibi Maruko-chan, Slam Dunk, Wedding Peach, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Fighting Spirit, Aria, Alien Nine, and Romeo’s Blue Skies. In the realm of video games, he has performed voice work for titles such as Halo 2 and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

In addition to animation and games, So-Hyeong Kim has also worked in film dubbing. His filmography in this area includes Korean television editions of movies such as the The Land Before Time series, Iron Man, Crash, Kung Fu Hustle, and Stuart Little.
