Fabian Harloff is a German actor, voice actor, and musician born on January 27, 1970, in Hamburg, Germany. He comes from a family involved in the film industry, as his grandfather worked as a dubbing director and his father as a director. Harloff began his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor in the 1980s, gaining early recognition through the television series Ein Fall für TKKG. He has since remained active across television, theater, and voice acting, including a long-running role on the German series Notruf Hafenkante.

As a voice actor, Harloff has contributed to numerous German dubs of international productions, accumulating over one hundred credited speaking roles. He is particularly known within the anime community for providing the German voice for several prominent characters. His most frequent anime role is Shino Aburame, the quiet and insect-wielding ninja, a character he has voiced across the entire Naruto franchise. His work as Shino includes the original Naruto series, Naruto Shippūden, the films Naruto Shippūden: The Will of Fire and Naruto Shippūden the Movie: Bonds, the spin-off series Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals, and the sequel series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Beyond the Naruto universe, Harloff is also recognized for his portrayal of the boisterous and egotistical assassin Black Star in Soul Eater. In the romantic comedy series School Rumble, he took on the role of the delinquent-turned-aspiring-mangaka Kenji Harima. Another notable performance is his role as Homare Koiwai, a kind-hearted and handsome corporate employee, in the series Recovery of an MMO Junkie.

In addition to his work in anime, Harloff has an extensive list of other voice credits. He is known to German audiences as the voice of Bob in the children's series Bob the Builder and also performed the role of the narrator for Teletubbies.
