Kailas Mahadevan is a German actor, voice actor, and rapper. He was born on August 14, 1978, in Hamburg, Germany. His career in voice acting began in 2001 when he provided voices for the television series The Sopranos. As a screen actor, he is known for roles in films such as Bambirak (2020), Manta, Manta - Zwoter Teil (2023), and Sterben (2023). His performance in the short film Bambirak earned him the Short Film Jury Award for Best International Fiction at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, as well as the NYU Tisch Craft Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2020.

As an anime voice actor, Mahadevan works primarily in German-language dubbing. One of his most prominent roles is providing the German voice for the character Kinshiki Ootsutsuki. He first voiced Kinshiki in the 2015 film Boruto: Naruto the Movie and later reprised the role for the television series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. In both the film and the series, he serves as the German dubbing voice for the Japanese voice actor Hiroki Yasumoto. This is a notable recurring collaboration, as he has also dubbed Yasumoto in other productions.

His other significant voice roles in anime and related animated series include a part in Gintama, where he voiced the character Nezumiya. He provided a voice for a police officer in Little Witch Academia and voiced the character Perry in ACCA 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Mahadevan also voiced Takimoto in Devils' Line and the character Bachirou in Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation. In addition to anime, his voice acting work includes roles in western animation such as Justice League Action Shorts and Thomas & Friends.
