Umika Kawashima is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer born on March 3, 1994, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in the entertainment industry in 2006, making her acting debut in the television drama Who Loves Mom More Than Me. In 2007, she became a member of the Japanese girl group 9nine, with which she remained active until her graduation from the group in 2016. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Letters at Meiji University with a degree in psychology.

Her work as a voice actor includes roles in both television anime series and animated films. One of her notable voice roles is Mari Fukami in the television anime series Fastest Finger First, which aired in 2017. Mari Fukami is a first-year high school student and a friend of the protagonist, described as having significant experience in the world of quiz competitions. Another key role is Pyro in the 2013 theatrical film Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge, where she voiced a character connected to the past of Kurapika.

Beyond these roles, Kawashima provided the voice for Hana Okada in the television series Star Driver and its subsequent theatrical film. She also voiced a townsperson in the anime series Puzzle & Dragons X. Her voice acting work extends to dubbing for foreign films, including providing the Japanese voice for Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania film series for the second and third installments. She had an earlier dubbing role as Soren in the Japanese version of the film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.

A recurring collaboration in her voice acting career is with the Hotel Transylvania film franchise, where she voiced the character Mavis in multiple sequels.
