Brad Smeaton

Brad Smeaton is an American voice actor and voice director known for his work on English-language dubs of anime productions, primarily for Funimation Entertainment and Crunchyroll. Based in the Dallas, Texas area, his career in voice-over has included a range of supporting and lead roles across numerous series.

Smeaton has contributed to several prominent long-running anime franchises. He has provided voices for the series One Piece, where he plays characters including Aladdin and Jero, and also appears in the film One Piece: Stampede. Additional credits in major series include voicing roles in Black Clover, Overlord, and the Star Blazers franchise, in which he portrays Takuya Kobashi in Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and Cosmodart Nazca in subsequent films.

In the sports anime All Out!!, Smeaton voices Mutsumi Hachioji, a main character and member of the rugby team, as well as providing additional voices for the series. Another notable role is Shinpei Sakamoto in My First Girlfriend Is a Gal. He also portrays Neko-Sempai in the comedy series Anime-Gataris. His other significant voice credits include Akira Ono in King's Game The Animation, Gnosis in Seven Mortal Sins, Lubitsch in Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, and Tome in Konohana Kitan.

In addition to his on-microphone work, Smeaton has worked as a voice director. He served as an assistant ADR director for several series, including on episodes six and seven of Knight's & Magic and My First Girlfriend Is a Gal, for which he also provided a commentary. He also acted as an assistant ADR director for episodes nine through eleven of Anime-Gataris.
