Sibylle Kuhne

Sibylle Kuhne (also credited as Inga Sibylle Kuhne) is a German voice actor born on November 2, 1948, in Delitzsch, Germany. She has contributed extensively to German-language dubbing of Japanese anime series and films.

One of her most prominent voice roles is Pinako Rockbell, the elderly automail mechanic and grandmother of Winry Rockbell, in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise. She provided the German voice for this character across multiple productions, including the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist television series, the 2005 film Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa, and the later series Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

In the culinary anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, which aired in Germany from 2015 to 2020, she voiced Fumio Daimidou, the longtime dorm mother of the Polar Star Dormitory. Her other notable anime roles include Misuzu Ooyama in Darker than Black and Vina in the comedy fantasy series Dragon Half.

Beyond voice acting for animation, Sibylle Kuhne has also appeared as a live-action actress in German film and television productions ranging from 2019 to 2025, including roles in Zwischen uns die Mauer, Wandelröschen, and Die Heinzels: Neue Mützen, Neue Mission.
