Mena Suvari

Description
Mena Suvari is an American actress who has also worked as a voice actor in several Japanese anime and video game projects, primarily in the mid-2000s. She is best known to anime and gaming audiences for providing the English voice of Aerith Gainsborough. Suvari first took on this role for the English-language version of the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, released in 2006, and subsequently reprised it for the Square Enix and Disney video game Kingdom Hearts II in the same year. This character, a beloved heroine from the original Final Fantasy VII game, represents her most significant contribution to the genre.

Before her work in the Final Fantasy series, Suvari was involved in an animated project as part of its early development. She provided the original voice for the character Enid in the pilot episode for Lakewood Plaza Turbo, which aired in 2013. The pilot later evolved into the animated series OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes, but for the series itself, the role of Enid was recast and voiced by a different actress. This early voice work shows her brief participation in an original animated property.

No other major voice roles in anime or related media have been reliably documented provided. Her voice acting achievements remain focused on her portrayal of Aerith Gainsborough at the height of her mainstream film career. Outside of her voice work, Suvari is widely recognized for her on-screen roles in films from the late 1990s and early 2000s, including American Beauty and the American Pie series.
