Isabelle Ganz is a French actress and voice actress born on March 20, 1955, who has been active in the dubbing industry since the 1970s. She is particularly known for her extensive work providing French voices for characters in anime and animated series.
Ganz began her anime dubbing career with roles in classic series from the 1970s. One of her early roles was providing the second voice for Segoya in the French version of Mazinger Z. During this period, she also voiced Sister Maria in the French dub of Candy Candy.
Her role as Makie in the film Wicked City is a notable credit in her filmography, specifically as part of the second French dub for that project. Another of her most recognized roles is providing the voice for Zia, one of the main characters in the beloved Franco-Japanese series The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Her other significant anime roles include Flora in Jayce and the Conquerors of Light, Bridget in An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (titled Fievel and the New World in the French release), and the character Judy in the series Doug. She also lent her voice to the character Gerda in a French dub of the 1957 film The Snow Queen.
