Kimiko Jitsukawa is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on January 26, 1982, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She attended Makuhari Sogo High School and later graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, majoring in theater. Her professional acting career began in 2002 when she joined the Caramel Box Theatre Company, where she became known for her stage performances in productions such as Chronos, Bye Bye Blackbird, and Huck Finn Says Goodbye. Beyond voice acting, her work includes appearances in television dramas like BAR Lemon Heart and Channel wa Sono Mama, as well as radio dramas and narrations for commercials.
In anime, Jitsukawa is perhaps best known for her role as Catherine in the long-running fantasy adventure series Black Clover. Catherine is a rogue witch from the Witches Forest and a member of the villainous Eye of the Midnight Sun group, who uses ash-based curse magic to deteriorate her opponents senses. Jitsukawa also voiced the character Sanbutsushin in the series Saiyuki Reload Blast. Her voice acting credits extend to Japanese dubbing of foreign films, where she has provided voices for movies including The Shape of Water and A Monster Calls.
