Joao Cappelli is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, and dubbing director. He began his career in voice work at the age of six, initially visiting studios with his grandfather, a translation professional who became a dubbing director, before being placed in front of a microphone himself. Over the years, he has built an extensive career lending his voice to a wide array of characters in animation, live-action series, and films.

While his work spans many genres, Cappelli is particularly recognized within the anime community for several prominent roles. He is the voice of Rin Okumura, the fiery protagonist of Blue Exorcist. He has voiced this character across multiple arcs of the series, including the first season, the Kyoto Saga, and the third season, Shimane Illuminati Saga. His other notable anime roles include Tyson Granger in the original Beyblade series and Kyoya Tategami in Beyblade Metal Fusion. He also voiced Gary in the animated series The Fairly OddParents.
