Lars Falinski, also known professionally as Lars Waltl, is a German voice actor, dialogue writer, and dubbing director born on October 4, 1983. He is a co-founder of the dubbing company Kölnsynchron in Cologne, which he co-manages with fellow voice actor Daniel Käser. The company has been responsible for German-language adaptations of numerous anime series, including Jormungand, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Overlord, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. In addition to his voice work for television, Falinski has also written dialogue books and directed dubbing for various productions, including the 2023 horror film Hellraiser.

Falinski has provided German voices for a wide array of anime characters. His roles include Metabon in Divine Gate, Taichi Tanaka in Tari Tari, Takashi Azuma in Photo Kano, and Fry in the German dub of Voltron: Defender of the Universe. Other notable anime voice credits include Kentarou Habara in Boogiepop and Others, Hekkeran Termite and Malmvist in the Overlord series, Gott C and Adventurer F in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Abel Arcadia in Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle, Sahbmad Saluja in Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, Kouichi Kameda in Higurashi: When They Cry - Gou, and a comic artist in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt. He has also performed voice work for older series, such as the role of Suefumi Oono in Harukanaru Toki no Naka de from 2006.

In his career, Falinski has frequently provided the German voice for specific Japanese actors, including Nobunaga Shimazaki, Hirofumi Nojima, and Takahiro Sakurai. Beyond anime, he is a prolific voice actor in video games, with notable performances as a young Samuel Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Adam Chapman in Detroit: Become Human, a young John Cooper in Desperados III, and most prominently as Miles Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023). In addition to performing, Falinski has contributed as a dialogue writer and dubbing director for numerous German-language adaptations of anime and other media.
