Yusaku Yara is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator born in Tokyo on March 15, 1948. His real name is Susumu Kawabe, and he was formerly known by the stage name Tetsu Kurobe. Yara has been active in the entertainment industry since 1975 and is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He has also served as the representative director of the voice actor office vi-vo.

Yara has built an extensive career with a wide range of notable voice roles in anime, OVAs, and feature films. Among his best-known performances is the role of Sagittarius Aiolos in the long-running Saint Seiya franchise, a character he has voiced in the original 1986 television series as well as later entries such as Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter, Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold, and Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac. He is also recognized as the voice of Senbei Norimaki in the. Slump and later reprised this role in an episode of Dragon Ball Super. In the 2023 original net animation Akuma-kun, he voices the character Satan, and in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba he played Tecchin Tecchikawahara.
