Pamela Ribon
Description
Pamela Ribon, born in 1975, is an American screenwriter, author, and actress who has contributed to the English dubs of several anime productions. Her most significant and recurring role in anime voice acting is providing the English voice for Kaori Makimura in the City Hunter film series. These credits include City Hunter:.357 Magnum, City Hunter: Bay City Wars, City Hunter: Million Dollar Conspiracy, and City Hunter: Secret Service. She also voiced the character in the 1997 film City Hunter: The Motion Picture. In addition to her work on City Hunter, Ribon performed a small voice role as a child in the English dub of Rurouni Kenshin: The Motion Picture.
Beyond her on-microphone performances, Ribon has contributed to anime as a writer for English dubs, having worked on the scripts for Lost Universe, Trouble Chocolate, and the latter half of Project ARMS. Outside of anime, Ribon is a more prominent figure in screenwriting for major animated films. She received an Annie Award nomination for her writing on Ralph Breaks the Internet, in which she also voiced the character of Snow White, and contributed to the stories of Moana and Nimona.
