Meg Frances is an anime voice actor known for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series and films. Her birth name is Meghan Frances Cary, and she is sometimes credited as Meg Francis. Frances has a background in theater, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in drama from Duke University and a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the Asolo Conservatory for Acting at Florida State University. She is also a playwright, author, and a founding member of the Actors Shakespeare Company in New York City.

Frances is perhaps best known for her multiple roles in the English dub of the anime series Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. In this series, she voiced the characters Leylia, Pirotess, Ryna, and the Grey Witch Karla, a powerful sorceress who maintains the balance of power on the island of Lodoss by transferring her soul between bodies through a magical circlet. Her performance as Karla appears in episodes sixteen through eighteen and twenty-two through twenty-seven of the series.

Beyond her work in Lodoss, Frances has voiced other notable anime roles. She portrayed Izumi Tachibana in both the original video animation and the television series Kujibiki Unbalance. Her other credits include Sachiko Wakasa in Boogiepop Phantom, Queen Mother West in Gokudo, and Papillion in the movie Space Travelers.
