Cristina Paiva is a Portuguese voice actress recognized for her extensive work on the anime series Sailor Moon. She was born on September 17, 1966, in Setúbal, Portugal. Her career in performing arts began at the age of sixteen when she started working in amateur theatre in her hometown. She subsequently studied at the former Conservatório Nacional, which is now the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, and began her professional career with the Companhia de Teatro de Portalegre. In addition to her work as a voice actress, she also directs Andante – Associação Artística, a theatre company that adapts poetry, novels, and short stories into plays for presentation in non-traditional venues.

Cristina Paiva is best known for her numerous roles in the Portuguese dub of the anime series Sailor Moon. She provided the voices for two of the main characters, Maria Kino, who is the civilian identity of Navegante de Júpiter (Sailor Jupiter), and Joana Lima, the civilian identity of Navegante de Vénus (Sailor Venus). She performed these dual roles across multiple iterations of the series, including the original Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS, and Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. Beyond the main cast, she also voiced several antagonist characters in the franchise. Her villain roles include Petzite in the Sailor Moon R series, a member of the Ayakashi Sisters. In the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars series, she voiced JunJun, a member of the Amazon Quartet, as well as Sailor Lead Crow, a member of the Sailor Animamates.
