Neide Pavani

Neide Pavani was a Brazilian actress, voice actress, and dubbing director who worked extensively in the Brazilian entertainment industry from the late 1950s until her death in 2002. She was born on May 2, 1934, in Ribeirão Pires, São Paulo, and passed away on October 25, 2002, in São Paulo due to a heart attack.
Pavani began her career in theater and on live television on TV Tupi in São Paulo during the late 1950s, before transitioning to television networks such as TV Excelsior and TV Rio. She eventually moved into dubbing in the mid-1960s, joining the studio Cinecastro in Rio de Janeiro around 1969 or 1970. By approximately 1978, she had returned to São Paulo to work with the studio AIC, which later became BKS. At BKS, she became the first female narrator in a Brazilian dubbing studio, and she also began directing series, eventually becoming one of São Paulos most prominent dubbing directors. She worked with several studios, including Parisi Vídeo, Estúdios Gabia, and Maga.
Among her most recognized roles in anime and animated series, she voiced Rosetta in the animated feature Lupin III: The Legend of the Gold of Babylon. She also contributed additional voices to the anime Thumbelina: A Magical Story. In addition to her work in animation, she dubbed numerous live-action performances, most notably providing the Brazilian Portuguese voice for actress Katharine Hepburn in films such as Adam's Rib and The Scalphunters. Other notable dubbing roles included Midge Wood in Rear Window, Mrs. Harper in The Poseidon Adventure, Rosie Morales in La Bamba, and Principal Evelyn Doyle in The Naked Gun.
Throughout her career as a dubbing director, she supervised the Brazilian Portuguese dubbing for several series, including the first season of The A-Team at the BKS studio. She also worked as a voice actress in television series such as Lost in Space, Bewitched, and Daniel Boone.
