Reiko Kitō

Reiko Kitō is a Japanese voice actress and former radio personality born on March 19 in Hokkaido, Japan. She began her career in the early 1980s, providing voices for several television anime series. Among her most recognized roles from this period are the title character Nanako in the series Nanako SOS and Mocha in the 1982 series Fairy Princess Minky Momo, a role she reprised for the 1985 film Fairy Princess Minky Momo: The Dream Within a Dream. Her other notable anime credits from the 1980s include Jun Misugi in Captain Tsubasa, Catherine in Magical Angel Creamy Mami, and a young Arthur in Lady Georgie. Kitō retired from voice acting in the early 1980s due to health issues, but around 1990 she resumed performing in local television programs in her native Hokkaido. During this later period of her career, she also provided the voice for the mascot character on-chan in short anime features produced by Hokkaido Television.
