Alfredo Sandoval was a Venezuelan voice actor, dubbing director, and actor whose career in voice work spanned approximately two decades. He was a graduate of the Universidad Central de Venezuela with a degree in Cinema and cultivated a career of over four decades across theater, television, film, and dubbing, which included a directing role and teaching at the Instituto Universitario de Teatro. His work in voice acting encompassed numerous animated series and anime productions for the Latin American Spanish dubbing market.

In the field of anime, Sandoval is recognized for providing the voice for Mayor Kurtz in the original video animation series M.D. Geist. His other anime voice credits include roles in the series Shulato, where he played a Villager of the Celestial Sphere, and in the childrens anime Almendrita, where he voiced Genaro's father. He also contributed to the dubs for Bubblegum Crisis and Manga Sekai Mukashi Banashi, in which he played the Magician and the Mirror.

Beyond anime, Sandoval had a prolific career voicing characters in various animated series. He was the voice of Captain Haddock in the Latin American Spanish dub of The Adventures of Tintin, Wallace in the Wallace and Gromit shorts, and the Crypt Keeper in Tales from the Crypt. His other roles included Orion in Jayce and the Warriors of the Silver Surfer, Dr. Emil Hamilton in Superman: The Animated Series, and additional voices for shows like Tiny Toons. He also performed dubbing work for live-action productions, including the Brazilian telenovela El rey del ganado. For his contributions to the performing arts, Sandoval received the Premio Municipal de Teatro. He passed away on October 19, 2011.
