Wolfgang Rüter is a German actor and voice actor known for his work in dubbing Japanese anime into German. Beyond his voice work, he has an extensive career in theater, television, and film, including appearances in German productions such as Tatort and Mord mit Aussicht. As a voice actor, he is particularly recognized for providing the German dubbing for several characters in popular anime series.

Rüter is notably the German voice of Hikozaemon Tokugawa, a role he performed in the dubs of both Star Blazers 2199 and its sequel, Star Blazers 2202: Space Battleship Yamato. In the original Japanese versions, the character is voiced by Mugihito. Another significant role is Hachigen Ushoda, a member of the Visored, in the long-running series Bleach.
