Bernd Reheuser is a German actor and voice artist born on January 13, 1959 in Bonn, Germany. He studied linguistics in Nantes, France from 1979 to 1984, where he also participated in his initial theater projects and worked as a musician. After returning to Germany in 1990, he became a speaker and moderator for Westdeutscher Rundfunk, later serving as the station's chief speaker from 1995 to 1999. His extensive career spans theater, film, television, and voice work, and he has performed at venues including the Theater der Keller in Cologne and the Wolfgang Borchert Theater in Münster.

Within the field of anime voice acting, Reheuser is primarily known for his role in the German dub of the science fiction series Star Blazers 2199, also known as Space Battleship Yamato 2199. In this series, he provides the voice for the character Gremt Goer, a major general and a commander in the Garmillas Empire who serves as a primary antagonist. The character is depicted as an opportunistic and hubristic officer who dismisses reports about the battleship Yamato's capabilities, forcing his subordinates to face the ship with inadequate resources.

Reheuser's additional voice roles in anime include work on the series Overlord 2. In this production, he voiced two distinct characters: Ulbert Alain Odle, a member of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown, and Peckii, a member of the Black Scripture. He also contributed to the film The Life of Budori Gusuko, where he played the character Tetsuya Yanagihara.

Beyond anime, Reheuser has an extensive portfolio of voice work that demonstrates his range as a performer. He is known to audiences as the narrator for the children's series Laura's Star. In the video game industry, he gained recognition for his performance as the vampire Regis in the acclaimed expansion The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine. His voice is also featured in numerous audiobooks, radio plays, and documentaries for broadcasters such as ARD, 3sat, and Arte.

Alongside his voice career, Reheuser has a parallel career as a stage and screen actor. He received the Cologne Theater Prize in 2000 for his portrayal of Denis Diderot in the play The Freethinker by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. His television work includes roles in the award-winning ARD two-part film Contergan, the crime series Tatort, the action series Alarm für Cobra 11, and the soap operas Alles was zählt and Verbotene Liebe.
