Sainty Reid, also known professionally as Sainty Nelsen, is an American voice actress and producer recognized for her work in anime and animated television series. She was born on May 20, 1989, and is a graduate of the music theatre program at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, where she earned a bachelor's degree.
Reid began her career in live performance, most notably originating the role of Dory in the Broadway stage production of Finding Nemo the Musical at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, immediately after her college graduation. She later transitioned into voice-over work, performing for various studios including Funimation, now known as Crunchyroll, and has also worked on ADR loop groups for television series such as The Americans and SMASH.
In the field of anime, Reid is best known for her role as Fleur Blanc in the series Eureka Seven AO, the 2012 sequel to the original Eureka Seven series. Fleur Blanc is a skilled and headstrong sixteen-year-old pilot of the Alleluia IFO, serving as a member of Team Pied Piper under the organization Generation Bleu. As the daughter of the organization's president, Christophe Blanc, her character arc involves a complex and estranged relationship with her father, which evolves as the series progresses. Reid voiced the character in the English dub for both the television series and the subsequent original video animation, and she also participated in an audio commentary for the show's fifth episode alongside fellow cast members Chuck Huber and Jad Saxton.
