Velia Krause is a German actress and voice actor based in Berlin. Coming from an artistic family, she began learning her craft as a child in a dubbing studio for children's films. She pursued formal training at the Theaterhochschule Hans Otto in Leipzig before performing in a variety of theatrical productions, including dramas, musicals, and cabaret. Her stage work includes roles in productions such as The Threepenny Opera, the musical Linie 1 at the original Grips-Theater in Berlin, and the two-person musical My Way about Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner. Krause has also performed her own solo programs and worked as a chanson singer.

In the field of voice acting, Velia Krause has provided German dubbing voices for numerous characters in film and television series. Among her notable anime roles, she is known for voicing the character Oboro Tsukimigusa in the German dub of the series SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist. In this series, she provides the voice for the strict school prefect Oboro. Her other prominent dubbing role is Jean Grey in a Marvel X-Men animated series. Krause has extensive experience in dubbing for network and streaming series, including voicing the character Maxwell in Orange Is the New Black.
