Patricia Drake is a Canadian actress who works extensively in television and in animated productions, primarily with the Ocean Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born on June 10, 1957, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Drake began her voice acting career in the 1980s. One of her earlier anime roles was providing voices for the series Maison Ikkoku, where she played Kyoko's Mother, as well as the characters Naomi and Yagami's Neighbor. In the English dub of Ranma ½, she voiced the character Yang Gui-fei. She also performed roles in the English adaptations of Inuyasha, as Koyuki, who is also known as Yuki-on'na, and as Kannon or Salamander. Her other anime credits include a role in Human Crossing as Kazuya's mother and in Tetsujin 28 as Ayako Umenokoji.

Drake is best known for her work as the English voice of Balalaika, the formidable leader of the Hotel Moscow crime syndicate, in the Black Lagoon anime series. She first voiced the character in the original 2006 Black Lagoon series, and later reprised the role for Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage and Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail. This role stands as a major achievement in her career and is a prominent credit among her work in Japanese animation.

Beyond her anime roles, her voice acting credits span a wide range of animated series. These include Beast Machines: Transformers, where she provided the voice of Strika, and Polly Pocket, where she voiced the main antagonist Griselle Grande. She has also performed voice roles for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Ninjago, Class of the Titans, Being Ian, and the long-running series Geronimo Stilton, for which she voiced numerous characters. Additionally, Drake has voiced characters in various Barbie animated films, including Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale, Barbie in Princess Power, and Barbie as the Island Princess.

Throughout her career, Drake has frequently collaborated with a circle of actors who, like her, have worked extensively with Ocean Studios. She has multiple collaborations with voice actors including Michael Dobson, Paul Dobson, Brian Drummond, Scott McNeil, and Richard Newman, among others. In addition to animation, Drake has appeared in a variety of television series and films. Her live-action television credits include roles in Stargate SG-1, Supernatural, The 4400, Arrow, Midnight Mass, and The Midnight Club.
