Jonathan Cook

Description
Jonathan David Cook, known professionally as Jonathan Cook, is an American voice actor born on August 19, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois. He has been active in the voice acting industry since the 1990s, with much of his anime work coming through Animaze dubs.

Cook is best known for his work in the English dub of the Digimon franchise. He provided the voice for King Drasil, specifically in its 7D6 form, in the series Digimon: Data Squad. The character King Drasil, also known as Yggdrasil, serves as the god-like host computer of the Digital World in the series. Other voice actors, including Mona Marshall and Mari Devon, also provided voice work for different forms of the King Drasil character in the same series.

Beyond his work on Digimon, Cook has been credited in several other notable productions. In the late 1990s, he was part of the cast for the animated series Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot. He also appeared in the English dub of the cyberpunk anime film Armitage III: Poly-Matrix, playing the role of Anchor. His other voice credits include a small, uncredited role as a Crime Syndicate Associate in the classic series Cowboy Bebop and a role in the animated film The Ant Bully as Wasp Number 6. In the world of video games, Cook lent his voice to the critically acclaimed title Star Wars: Republic Commando.

In addition to his performance career, Cook has also worked as a producer. His body of work in the late 1990s and 2000s has established him as a participant in the English-language dubbing of Japanese animation during that era.
