Tomomi Watanabe is a Japanese voice actress who was born on January 31st and hails from Fukushima Prefecture. She began her voice acting career in 2004 and is affiliated with the talent agency Sigma Seven. She is best known to anime audiences for her role as Tomoyo Kurobe in the 2008 television series True Tears.

Watanabe's early career included a number of small and supporting roles in major productions. Her first credited work was as a female customer in an episode of the long-running detective series Detective Conan in 2004. In 2006, she voiced multiple characters in the popular comedy Ouran High School Host Club, including Momoka Kuragano, as well as several background roles such as a maid and a房东. She continued to build her resume throughout the late 2000s with appearances in series like Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society, Keroro军曹, and DARKER THAN BLACK -The Black Contractor-.

In addition to her television work, Watanabe has contributed to OVA projects and film dubbing. Her OVA credits include roles in ARIA The ORIGINATION and Hellsing. She has also been involved in dubbing Western films and television dramas into Japanese, including the film Jungle 2 Jungle and the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Her later anime roles include a part as Hanako in Mob Psycho 100. She has also worked as a narrator for television programs.
