Avery Rice-Williams

Description
Avery Rice-Williams is an American voice actor known for work on English-language dubs of Japanese anime series, primarily during the 2000s. The name is a professional alias used by a child actor named Adam Rice, who is the son of veteran voice actor Kent Williams, known for roles such as Father in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and the Supreme Kai in the Dragon Ball franchise.

Rice-Williams is best recognized for providing the English voice of Ako Izumi, student number five in class 3-A, in the Negima! franchise. He voiced this character in both the 2005 anime series Negima! Magister Negi Magi and its 2006 alternate retelling Negima!?. The character Ako Izumi is a shy, athletic girl who works as a nurse's assistant despite a fear of blood, and Rice-Williams portrayed her across multiple episodes and related media.

Beyond the Negima! series, Rice-Williams appeared in other prominent anime dubs produced by Funimation. He voiced the role of Fletcher Tringham in the 2003 series Fullmetal Alchemist, appearing in the episode Sareki no daichi Kôhen, where he was credited as Avery Williams. He also provided a voice for the character Hiroshi in an English dub of the long-running series Detective Conan, localized by Funimation under the name Christopher.

The actor’s known body of work consists primarily of these supporting roles in the mid-2000s, with his performance as Ako Izumi being his most frequent and notable credit. There are no widely documented awards or major recurring collaborations with specific directors or voice actors beyond his association with Funimation's regular talent pool during that era.
