Azumi Yamamoto, born February 15, 1987 in Kanagawa Prefecture, is a Japanese voice actress who performs under the stage name Azumi Asakura. She is affiliated with the agency Arts Vision and has been active in the voice acting industry since 2003.

Yamamoto began her career after receiving the Columbia Award during a Voice Newtype audition in the summer of 2003. She made her debut as a voice actress in 2005, with her first major role being Akira Ookouchi in the series Negima! Magister Negi Magi, a role she would reprise in subsequent Negima! productions, including the 2006 series Negima!? as cited in the request. In September 2006, she changed her professional name from her birth name, Azumi Yamamoto, to Azumi Asakura.
