Rie Saitō is a Japanese voice actress and stage performer born on July 26, 1978, in Hokkaido, Japan. She began her career in entertainment as a stage actor before transitioning to voice work, making her voice acting debut with the Japanese dub of the television series Roswell. She was previously affiliated with the talent management firm OfficePAC, and following that agency's dissolution, she moved to Stay Luck in April 2025. Throughout her career, she has also written for the official Super Robot Wars blog and has listed her special skills as including the tea ceremony.

Saitō's early anime roles include Saito and Shuden in the series Wild 7 Another, as well as the character Alice in the series Fortune Dogs. She gained wider recognition for several prominent lead and supporting roles in the mid-2000s, including Mahiru Minazuki in Mahoraba ~Heartful days~ and Inaho Azuma in Yakitate!! Japan. In 2006, she was cast as Tokine Yukimura in the supernatural series Kekkaishi. That same year, she voiced the character Re-l Mayer in the science fiction psychological thriller Ergo Proxy. The following year, she took on the role of Daichi Sawaguchi in the critically acclaimed science fiction series Dennou Coil.

Beyond her work in anime, Saitō has an extensive body of work in video games and foreign language dubbing. Her game credits include Maya Shidow in the Phantasy Star Universe series, Dr. Eri Anzai in Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector, and Tsine Espio in Super Robot Taisen Z. She has also taken on the role of Mira Lioness in the Super Robot Wars OG series. In dubbing, she has provided the Japanese voice for actresses such as Rachel Bilson and has voiced characters in several foreign films and animated series, including the Japanese version of Hazbin Hotel.
