Crystal Scales is an American actress, singer, and rapper who has worked extensively in voice-over animation. She was born on November 22, 1971 in Belews Creek, North Carolina, and has been active in the entertainment industry since 1997. She is best known for providing the voice of Libby Folfax on the long-running animated series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, a role she also played in the 2001 feature film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Her other significant television voice roles include Tamika Jones on the Cartoon Network series Class of 3000, Cleo Carter on Tutenstein, and Daisy Watkins on Static Shock.

In the context of anime and Japanese-influenced animation, Scales is recognized for her role as the young version of the title character in the series Afro Samurai, a role she played in 2007. Her other work in the action-adventure genre includes providing the voice of Meesh in the anthology film Batman: Gotham Knight and the character Erica in the series Wolverine and the X-Men. Additional voice credits include roles in films like Titan A.E., The Wild Thornberrys Movie, and Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo, as well as series such as The Boondocks, All Grown Up!, and the American version of Doraemon.
