Luc Florian was a French actor and voice actor, recognized for his work in dubbing numerous American films and television series into French. Born on August 24, 1951, Florian began his career on stage in 1969, receiving training from Tania Balachova and Raymond Rouleau. His career extended across theater, television, and film, where he appeared in supporting roles in French productions throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. In addition to his on-screen work, he was also active in writing, contributing scripts for television and radio.

In the field of animation voice acting, Florian provided French voices for several notable anime series. He is known for the role of Justice in the English-language Japanese anime Afro Samurai, a series that featured the voice of Samuel L. Jackson in the original English version. His other significant anime role was Raoul in the classic series Fist of the North Star. Beyond animation, his voice was widely heard as the regular French dubbing voice for several major Hollywood actors, including Jeff Bridges, Charlie Sheen, and Forest Whitaker.
