Candida Gubbins

Description
Candida Gubbins is a British actress and voice artist born in 1963 in Westminster, London, England. She has built a career that spans both live-action productions and voiceover work for animated series and films.

Gubbins is perhaps best known for her voice roles in English-language dubs of Japanese and Italian animated productions from the 1990s. One of her most prominent roles is providing the voice for the title character in The Legend of Snow White, a Japanese animated television series that was dubbed for English-speaking audiences. Her performance as Snow White captures the innocence and purity of the princess while also conveying her strength and courage. This series was distributed by Janson Media in 1994 and 1995, and an animated feature film compilation of the series was released in 1992.

Gubbins also performed multiple roles in the 1991 animated series Robin Hood. In this production, she voiced the characters of Cleo, Much, and Winnifred Scarlet. She reprised these same three roles in a later sequel film, Robin Hood IV: King's Return, released in 2007. This reprisal demonstrates a lasting association with the Robin Hood franchise and its characters.

Throughout these projects, Gubbins collaborated with several voice actors on multiple occasions. Notably, she worked alongside Stuart Milligan, who voiced Prince Richard in The Legend of Snow White and Gilbert in the Robin Hood series, as well as Stuart Organ, who voiced Count Alfred in The Legend of Snow White and Friar Tuck in Robin Hood.
