Teppei Takasugi, born Teppei Takasugi on August 3, 1920, in Tokyo, Japan, was a Japanese actor and voice actor known for his work in film, television, and anime. He graduated from Nihon University and began his career in the entertainment industry in 1938. Over the decades, he was affiliated with several theatrical groups, including the Geijutsu Shogekijo theater company, the Toho Engeibu, the Takarazuka Gekidan, and the Gekidan Toei, before joining the Tokyo Actors Consumer's Cooperative Society in 1960, an organization he remained with for many years. His skills included proficiency in the Tohoku and Kansai dialects.

As a voice actor in animation, Takasugi is best recognized for his role in the 1991 feature film Mobile Suit Gundam F91, where he voiced the character Meitzer Ronah. This antagonist role remains his most prominent credit in the mecha genre. His other voice work in anime includes a part in the 1999 original video animation series Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal, in which he voiced a soldier. Earlier in his career, he also contributed to the 1984 television series Star Mask Man, playing the character Mr. Tsumura. Later, in 2003, he appeared in the anthology series Takahashi Rumiko Theater, providing the voice for Ryuichi's Grandfather.

In addition to his animation voice roles, Takasugi had a substantial career as a screen actor in live-action Japanese television dramas and films, with numerous appearances dating from the 1950s through the 2000s. Beyond his work in Gundam F91, his wider acting credits include the film Ningen no yakusoku and the television series Omoide zukuri. His extensive filmography demonstrates a long and active presence across multiple forms of Japanese media throughout the late 20th century.
