José Maria Torruella

José Maria Torruella was a Spanish dubbing actor whose professional status is listed as in memory. He is recognized for his work in anime voice acting during the 1980s and 1990s. One of his most notable roles was providing the voice for the character Nono in the anime series Ulysses 31 from 1982. His career also included work on other well-known anime titles; he voiced Tarô in episodes one hundred twenty-one and one hundred twenty-two of Ranma ½ for its Antena 3 dub in 1993, as well as additional voices for the same series. Beyond anime, his dubbing portfolio included the role of Frankie in Fantasmas Marchosos in 1988. In addition to his on-screen voice work, Torruella worked extensively as a dubbing adjuster, with credits on one hundred twenty-eight productions between 1980 and 2002, including titles such as Star Trek: The Motion Picture from 1980 and various other films and television projects.
