Nicolas Artajo, born May 1, 1985, in Berlin, is a prominent German actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing international films and series, including a significant number of anime productions. He began his career in front of the camera as a child actor at the age of three and pursued formal training at the Schauspielschule Startbrett in Berlin from 2002 to 2004. In addition to his performing arts career, he completed a master's degree in History and German Literature at Humboldt University in Berlin.

Artajo is highly active in the German dubbing industry, providing the German voice for numerous characters in anime and live-action productions. He has voiced a wide array of prominent anime roles. These include the character of Nicol Ascart in the romantic comedy My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, the powerful Yuta Okkotsu in the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and Takeru Takaishi in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. His other notable anime credits include Delta Zakuro in Beyblade Burst GT, Yashiro Isana in the K project franchise (including K: Missing Kings), Jun Misugi in Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002, and the role of Shoya Ishida in the critically acclaimed film A Silent Voice. His work also extends to other major titles such as Edward Elric in the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film, Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable and Yu-Gi-Oh! Beyond anime, Artajo is known as the regular German dubbing voice for actors Jamie Bell, Michael Cera, and Himesh Patel. Some of his most recognized dubbing performances in live-action films include Billy Elliot in Billy Elliot, for which he received a nomination for the German Synchron Award in 2001, Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Tintin in The Adventures of Tintin. He has also voiced characters in popular television series, such as Justin Foley in 13 Reasons Why.

In addition to his voice work, Artajo is an accomplished narrator for audiobooks and radio plays, for which he has received multiple accolades. He won the German Audio Book Prize (Hörkules) in 2010 for his reading of Slumdog Millionär. In 2021, he was awarded a Gold Record by the Federal Association of the Music Industry for the radio play The Little Prince. Artajo is also active behind the scenes as a dialogue writer and synchronisation director, working on numerous series and films for networks like Netflix and Amazon Prime. His multifaceted career in the German entertainment industry also includes work as a television presenter, notably hosting over 130 episodes of the Disney Channel craft show Art Attack, and as a film director.
