Manolo Palma is a German actor and voice actor known for his work in theater, film, and television, including providing German dubbing voices for anime productions. He completed his acting studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg and began his career as a freelance actor in Hamburg and Switzerland, where he also co-wrote screenplays.
His extensive theater career includes engagements at the new theater in Halle under Peter Sodann starting in 1999, followed by positions at the Städtische Theater in Chemnitz from 2001. In Chemnitz, his roles included Wang in The Good Person of Szechwan, Danceny in Dangerous Liaisons, Spiegelberg in The Robbers, and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet. He subsequently performed at the Staatstheater Mainz, the Theater der Jugend in Vienna, the Fritz-Rémond-Theater in Frankfurt, and the Phönix-Theater in Linz. Palma has also been a member of the Shakespeare Company Berlin, the Theater Poetenpack Potsdam, and the Hexenkessel Hoftheater Berlin, where he performed in Don Juan and Servant of Two Masters, as well as at the Vaganten-Bühne Berlin. His more recent stage work includes playing Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Barfüßerruine Erfurt and performing in the dance theater piece Reprise at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar.
In addition to his stage work, Palma works regularly in radio and television, and has increasingly focused on voice acting for dubbing. On Netflix, he provided the German voice for the character Dante in the series Soundtrack, which was released in January 2020.
