Shōji Izumi is the former name of Japanese voice actor Hisashi Izumi, who was born on August 9, 1962, in Akita, Japan. He was previously affiliated with the talent firm Kekke Corporation and later worked with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society.

In anime voice acting, Izumi is known for the role of Tomoyoshi Ishizuka, one of three salarymen working in the office of the 21st Century Defense Security Corporation in the series Dai-Guard. He also provided the voice for the character Fire Man in the video game Mega Man Powered Up.

Beyond animation, Izumi has worked extensively in voice dubbing for foreign media. His dubbing roles include Snakeweed in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and Loki in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Binky the Clown in Garfield and Friends.
