Lesley Pedersen

Description
Lesley Pedersen is an American voice actress known for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, often credited under the names Lesley Tesh or Lesley Tesh Pedersen. Her voice acting portfolio includes a range of supporting and main roles across several anime series produced during the late 2000s and early 2010s.

One of Pedersen's most prominent lead roles is Kaede Mizuno in the comedy series Nyan Koi!. Announced by Sentai Filmworks in November 2013, the English dub for Nyan Koi! featured Lesley Pedersen in the leading role of the kind but oblivious high school student Kaede, who loves cats but cannot have one of her own because her family owns four large dogs. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in December 2013. In the action thriller series CANAAN, Pedersen voiced Alphard al-Shua, the primary antagonist of the show. Alphard is the leader of a terrorist organization called Snake and the arch-enemy of the titular character Canaan. Her performance as this villainous role added to the dramatic tension of the 2009 series.

In the dystopian science fiction series No. 6, which aired in 2011, Pedersen provided the English voice for the character Karan. Karan is a supporting character in the story of two boys navigating a corrupt futuristic city-state. Her other anime voice credits include roles in series such as Mushi-Shi, Black Blood Brothers, and The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye, according to her professional profile. Her career in voice acting for English dubs spans from the early 2000s into the early 2020s, with one of her later known roles being in a 2021 television series.

Beyond her work in anime, Pedersen has also performed voice work for other media, including the English version of the live-action series Power Rangers Zeo. Her work in the anime industry shows a recurring collaboration with the North American licensing company Sentai Filmworks, which produced and distributed the English dubs for several series she appeared in, including Nyan Koi! and CANAAN. Her filmography indicates a consistent presence as a voice actor for secondary and principal characters in English-language adaptations of Japanese animation during this period.
