Alpha Lagrange

Description
Alpha Lagrange is a pseudonym used by the American voice actor, ADR director, and script writer known professionally as Eric Vale. Born Christopher Eric Johnson Jr. on April 28, 1974, in Grand Prairie, Texas, he adopted the stage name Eric Vale upon joining an actors' union that already had a member named Eric Johnson. The name Alpha Lagrange is among several alternative credits he has used throughout his career, alongside Eric Johnson.

Vale has been active in the voice acting industry since approximately 1999 and is primarily associated with Funimation, now known as Crunchyroll, where he has worked extensively on English dubs of Japanese anime series. In addition to voice acting, he has served as an ADR director, script writer, and head writer for the company.

Under the name Alpha Lagrange, he is known for voicing the character Akira Kaburagi Regendorf in the anime series Dance in the Vampire Bund, which aired in 2010. Akira is the male lead and a young werewolf who serves as the protector of the vampire queen, Mina Tepes.

Beyond this specific credit, the majority of his extensive voice work is documented under his primary stage name, Eric Vale. In that capacity, he has portrayed numerous prominent characters in English-dubbed anime. These include Future Trunks and the World Tournament Announcer in the Dragon Ball franchise, Sanji in One Piece, Yuki Sohma in Fruits Basket, Solf J. Kimblee in Fullmetal Alchemist, Loke in Fairy Tail, and the personifications of America and Canada in Hetalia: Axis Powers.
