Isao Yamagishi is a Japanese voice actor known for his work in anime, video games, and dubbing for foreign films and television series. He is affiliated with the talent agency Haikyo, having graduated from its voice actor training school as a member of the 11th generation class in 1997.

Born on January 15 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Yamagishi possesses a high baritone voice. His career includes a mix of leading roles in Western animated series dubs, supporting parts in major anime franchises, and performances in Japanese tokusatsu dramas.

In the realm of anime, Yamagishi is best known for his portrayal of Take Noda, a student at Shirokin High School, in the series The Gokusen. His other prominent anime roles include the lead role of Ren in the Japanese dub of The Ren and Stimpy Show, Koutenken in Senkai Den Houshin Engi, Jun Kawanakajima in Ultra Maniac, Takasu in Choujūshin Gravion, and Ryo Kojima in Full Metal Panic!.

Yamagishi has also contributed to several notable anime series in recurring or guest roles. He appears in Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory, SD Gundam Force, and RahXephon. His film work includes a role in the theatrical feature Escaflowne and the film Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone.
