Jeong Nam
Description
Jeong Nam is a South Korean voice actor born on January 30, 1968. She joined the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation's Voice Acting Division in 1996. Beyond her voice work, she also has experience as an on-screen actor, notably appearing in the Korean version of the television series 24 as the character Nina Myers. Jeong Nam is known for her work in dubbing foreign television series and films for MBC. Her television dubbing credits include the Korean broadcast editions of 24, CSI: Miami, Ojamajo Doremi (first series), and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show. She has also provided narration for programs such as Apple Tree, Children's to New Life, and Mother's Song. In feature film dubbing, her roles include the Korean TV editions of Sabrina, Unagi, Independence Day, and Blade II. One of her most recognized anime voice roles is Arisa Uotani in the 2001 television anime adaptation of Fruits Basket. In this series, she voiced the tall, tough, and loyal former gang member who becomes a close friend and protector of the main character, Tohru Honda.
