Ann-Kathrin Hinz is a German actress and voice actor known for her work in dubbing anime series and other media. She was born in 1993 in Bavaria and grew up on the Baltic Sea coast near Kiel before moving to Hamburg to study acting. Since 2015, she has worked as a stage actress and voice performer, appearing on international theater stages from Münster to Sri Lanka. From 2017 to 2022, she was an ensemble member at the Theater Dortmund, after which she began focusing primarily on voice work for synchronization, audiobooks, radio plays, and video games.

In the field of anime voice acting, Hinz is best known for providing the German voice of Mamori Anezaki in the series Eyeshield 21. This role, a central character in the football-themed anime, remains one of her most prominent contributions to the genre. Her other notable voice roles in Japanese animation and related productions include Muniel in Sand Land, Fione in Suicide Squad Isekai, Kelart Custodio in Overlord IV, Alexia in Cat's Eyes, and Nour Hamdi in Planet B - Gefangen in einer anderen Welt. She has also performed voice work for video games such as Mafia III - Zeichen der Zeit.

Beyond animation, Hinz has an extensive career as an audiobook narrator, having recorded titles including Freche Mädchen: Küsse nie den Falschen, Lakestone Campus 3: What We Hide, and Beauty Must Die, among many others. She also appears in German television, having joined the cast of Tatort Dortmund in 2024 as Rabea Sharif, the head of the forensic investigation team. She holds a first-degree black belt in Ju-Jutsu and has training in Thai boxing, stage combat, and various musical styles as a mezzo-soprano vocalist.
