Karine Pinoteau is a French actress who has performed voice work for several anime series and animated productions. She is the daughter of film director Claude Pinoteau. Her performance as Mai Tokiha in the series My-HiME stands as a notable role in her voice acting career.

Pinoteau's career spans theater, film, television, and voice acting. She trained at the École Périmony, where she received the Prix Louis Jouvet. Her extensive stage work includes both classical playwrights such as Shakespeare, Molière, and Marivaux, as well as modern authors. On screen, she has appeared in French films including Meurtrières, Monsieur Batignole, and Demandez la permission aux enfants, and in television series such as Julie Lescaut and Une femme d'honneur.

In the field of anime voice acting, beyond her role as Mai Tokiha in My-HiME, Pinoteau voiced Reiko Asagiri in Gate Keepers and Heki in Tokyo Underground.
