Steve Schatzberg, also known as Steven Schatzberg, was an American voice actor active in the industry from the early 1980s until his death in 2008. He was born on February 18, 1943. Over the course of his career, he contributed to numerous animated series and films, building a body of work that spanned both Western animation and Japanese anime productions dubbed for English-speaking audiences.

In the world of anime, Schatzberg is perhaps best known for his role as Arvind Lavie in the hard science fiction series Planetes. Set in the year 2075, the show follows a crew of astronauts whose job is to collect dangerous space debris. Schatzberg voiced the Indian-born assistant chief clerk of the Debris Section, a character known for his flexible body, comedic personality, and dedication to supporting his seven children. His other notable anime roles included Gable Docker in the mecha series Gurren Lagann, Yoshikichi in Samurai Champloo, and an officer in Urda. He also provided additional voices for the series Otogi Zoshi.

Schatzberg was also a familiar voice in Western animation. His most prominent recurring role was as the singing voice of Piglet in the Winnie the Pooh franchise throughout the 1990s and 2000s. He performed this vocal work for several specials and direct-to-video films, including Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving, and Boo to You Too! Winnie the Pooh. Other significant voice roles from this period of his career included Tyg Tiger in Shirt Tales and Matt in The Gary Coleman Show. He also lent his voice to an episode of The Real Ghostbusters and the video game Goosebumps: Attack of the Mutant.
