He is also credited under other aliases including Jay Snyder and Jack Bean. His work spans voice acting, ADR direction, and script adaptation for various studios, including 4Kids Entertainment, NYAV Post, and Central Park Media.

In the Slayers franchise, James Snider is credited as the English voice of Lord Gaav, also known as Chaos Dragon Garv, in the series The Slayers Next. He returned to the franchise in additional roles, providing the voices for Wizer Freion and Zanaffar in Slayers Revolution. Beyond this franchise, Snider is renowned for a wide array of prominent anime roles under his primary name, Dan Green. He is best known as the voice of Yugi Muto and Yami Yugi in the Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters).
