Dick Smallberries is an alias used by the American voice actor Bryce Austin Papenbrook for select credits in English-language anime dubbing. As an established figure in the industry, Papenbrook has voiced leading roles in numerous major anime franchises and video games.
Papenbrook was born on February 24, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, and is the son of voice actors Debbie Rothstein and the late Bob Papenbrook. He holds a fourth-degree black belt in martial arts and is a former kickboxing champion. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in political science.
Under the name Dick Smallberries or Dick Smallberries Jr., Papenbrook has been credited in several English anime dubs. He voiced the character Valya in the 2009 animated film First Squad: The Moment of Truth. In the television series Ah My Buddha, he provided the voice for the main character, Ikkou Satonaka. He also voiced Omi Kiriyama in the English dub of Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox. Additional voice work under this alias includes a role in the English version of the series Someday's Dreamers.
