Gianluca Tusco is an Italian voice actor born on March 18, 1962, in Pesaro, Italy. He is the son of actor and voice actor Marcello Tusco and began his career as a theatre performer in 1972 before dedicating himself to dubbing continuously from 1976 onward. In the field of anime, one of his notable roles is Masayoshi Kuki in the series RahXephon. His extensive anime voice credits include Boss in Mazinger Z, taking over the role as the second voice, as well as Benkei Kuruma in Getter Robo G as the second voice. He voiced multiple characters in the 1999 version of Hunter x Hunter, including Silva Zaoldyeck, Gereta, and others. Other anime television roles include Jackson in Full Metal Panic!, Chase in Appare-Ranman!, Riki in KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, Dole François in I'm in Love with the Villainess, Amaso in Kotetsushin Jeeg, and Hajun in Record of Ragnarok. In anime films and specials, he provided the voice of Fujitaka Kinomoto in Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie, Pelna Khara in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, Hans in Lupin III THE FIRST, Dynamite Joe in Lupin III: Prison of the Past, and Dahlia in The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light. Beyond anime, Tusco is widely recognized as the Italian voice of live-action actors such as John Cusack and Forest Whitaker. He has also voiced the protagonists of the children's animated series Postman Pat and Fireman Sam, as Pat Clifton and Sam respectively. Since 2001, he has served as the Italian narrator for the documentary series Come è fatto, the Italian version of How It's Made. His career spans multiple decades and demonstrates considerable versatility across film, television, and animation genres.
