David Greenlee is an American voice and screen actor born on March 19, 1960, in Newport Beach, California. He began his career in entertainment with an appearance on the game show Password Plus in 1979 before transitioning to on-screen roles in the early 1980s. Greenlee is perhaps best known to television audiences for his portrayal of the nerdy hall monitor Dwight Mendenhall on the musical drama series Fame, a role he played from 1982 to 1986. Following his success on Fame, he had a recurring role as Mouse on the fantasy series Beauty and the Beast from 1988 to 1990. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, he made guest appearances on numerous other live-action shows, including The Twilight Zone,, Roseanne, and Renegade, and had small roles in films such as Iron Eagle (1986) and Slumber Party Massacre III (1990).
In the realm of anime voice acting, Greenlee is most notably recognized for his work in the English dub of the Digimon franchise. He is the voice of Hiroaki Ishida, the father of characters Matt Ishida and T.K. Takaishi, in both Digimon Adventure and its sequel series Digimon Adventure 02.
